Sausage and Bean Casserole

I have just cooked tea for my flatmate. It is so nice to have time to go to the shops and buy food to cook tea. I am on annual leave next week, so hope to do ths a few more times before we set off for Nepal. Blanche will be covering the office phone and email so feel free to call her with any questions in my absence.

Having managed to avoid most of the packing the rest of the team have been involved in, I now need to think about my own. It is hard to plan for being away for 3 and a half months; 7 weeks on Cho Oyu seemed long enough, and this is nearly double that time!

I am also going to spend this week catching up with friends, and icing a friend's wedding cake. Two of my close friends have chosen to get married whilst I am in Nepal. Perhaps they are trying to tell me something.

When I get back to work, I am going to feel quite lonely in my office. I used to share it with Mac, and more recently Lee, from the logisitics team. Now there won't be anyone to tease me incessantly and make a mess of the office!
