The wrong side of a beer?

3 messages :: read>

Hello from the Namche Team. Due to unforeseen staff shortages Jo and Dick are writing to you on the wrong side of a beer.

We have had a busy week with one thing and another. Testing has been going remarkably smoothly with treks B and C successfully processed?. We have really enjoyed having such lively teams coming through, watch out for the British Army Officer led assault on base camp, armed with charm, wit, bravado and some extra special evening wear!

Trek D arrived this afternoon and it looks like another fun packed two days; we know from experience that their apprehension of the bike test is unfounded. NO one yet has not enjoyed it retrospectively! It will be interesting to see if their plan to get up for sunrise at 0500 tomorrow comes to fruition. Jo and I will of course be out for our morning run before testing.

We are anticipating an easier week of testing this week with our full team in place. Alan and Lee have returned from Base Camp to enjoy the creature comforts of Namche. Tracie arrived with Trek C fresh from her exams in Birmingham, though unfortunately she has already upset Monty with comments about rugby league?s superiority over union.

While we emphasise how much work we are all doing, rest assured Team Namche are maintaining an excellent balance of work and play with frequent sorties to the mountains and a storming party for Goli?s 24th birthday. With in house cinema, disco, ceroc dancers, bar, and an endless supply of popcorn the photos could make or break many young doctors? careers!

Testing is going well, morale is high, Team Namche in fine fettle to embrace another week of rigorous testing and celebrating Helen?s Birthday on Sunday!
