Royal Geographical Lecture

I have been spending the last couple of weeks finalising preparations for the Caudwell Xtreme Everest lecture at the famous Royal Geographical Society. The lecture, in conjunction with Linde Gas Therapeutics and BOC Medical, took place last week.
It has given me the opportunity to catch up with many of the trekkers who joined us this year in Nepal, as well as some of the Xtreme Team. Our trekkers continue to support us hugely, despite already having donated money, blood, sweat and in some cases tears.
As the University closes down for Christmas until the New Year, I am trying to finish off last minute jobs before the break. This time last year I was frantically trying to book trekkers in for sea level testing, coordinate the training of our lab staff who joined us in January 2007, amongst a range of other jobs. It does not seem a whole year ago, so much has happened in between that it has flown by.
I hope you all have a great break over the holiday season, and have a great start to 2008. Post a comment on this article... Open message form
