Fish and chip supper!

The Archway take-aways are doing well out of the Caudwell Xtreme Everest team. As many of the team at Archway contemplate undergoing sea level testing themselves next week, I am conscious of the less than perfect training I have been engaged in.

Simon, one of our trekkers, has told us to enjoy the bike test. I presume he is teasing, but the test that is causing me more anxiety is the muscle biopsy. I am not that keen on injections, like Mary, and local anaesthetic has a tendency to sting! (See the comments on my previous blog).

Our logisitics team leave for Nepal two weeks tomorrow, and they are roping everyone in with the ongoing packing. You cannot stand still for five minutes without getting dragged off to fill barrels or weigh boxes.

We have just sent off our order to our printers at Quentin Press for the 260 symptom diaries that need to be ready for shipment next week. The printers are busting a gut to get them ready for shipment. These diaries need to be robust enough to cope with being flung in a rucsac every day for three and a half weeks, and still be legible by the end of it. Let's hope no one drops theirs in a stream, or pours a cup of coffee over it.
