Light at the end of the tunnel?

Sea level testing

3 messages :: read>

There is light at the end of the tunnel and it is not the light of an oncoming train!

Or maybe it is? Maybe, it is the unstoppable train that is the countdown to shipping our equipment to Nepal. The light I am writing about signifies the end of sea level testing of all our trekkers! Our lab staff have worked their socks off in the last 6 weeks to test over 200 trekkers. This has included completing more than 400 exercise tests, and retinal images, taking over 9 litres of blood, and completing over 200 neurocognitive tests.

We have a fantastic team, that have pulled together to produce a comprehensive physiological picture of each of our trekkers. Now, we have a few days of frenzied packing, and then it is the turn of the 24 lucky members of the Caudwell Xtreme team.

I add my thanks to Simon's - well done all of you!

We rather feel we're on an unstoppable train too - but ours is the pin-cushion ride - I've never had so many injections in my life - alternate arms for the last 5 weeks, with more to come. What joy!

Off to Wales next weekend for the pre-trek trek - very excited about meeting everyone.

Enjoy your packing as we enjoy ours.
