The Caudwell Xtreme Everest Team is pleased to announce that the climbing team have left Everest base camp today, and have started moving up the mountain. Mike Grocott, Sundeep Dhillon, Chris Imray, Roger McMorrow, Nigel Hart, Dan Martin, Paul Gunning, Patrick Doyle, Mick O?Dwyer, Jeremy Windsor, Denny Levett, Andre Verceuil, Vijay Ahuja and Maryam Khosravi are currently at Camp One. The film teams are currently at base camp, and will join the climbing team on the mountain tomorrow. The plan over the next few days is to reach the South Col (Camp Four), where some members of the team will undergo further scientific tests, including a ramp test. Some members of the team will attempt to summit in the days following completion of the science at the South Col, weather permitting. The progress of the team will be charted on this website on a daily basis.
