Trek I are in base camp

Trek I arriving at base camp

10 messages :: read>

Tomorrow the MacGillivray Freeman IMAX film crew head down to Kathmandu after a very productive stay at basecamp.

High winds and unsettled weather mean that for the moment the climbing team will be resting in base-camp awaiting a weather window adequate to complete the South Col science and attempt the summit.

Trek I are currently being tested in basecamp, Trek H are back in Namche, Trek J are heading up to Lobuje. Trek K are just arriving in Pheriche, Trek L are just arriving in Namche and Trek M (the final trek) are just arriving in Kathmandu.

Mike et al - Excellent news and well done - all that training and "just once more" for the camera obviously helped - hope to meet up again soon.

Hi Mike,
we have been watching your progress and think it's a fantastic acheivement - especially for a guy who thought that jumping off the drum kit was dangerous!
I told Jools about your success and his comment was "too much sugar in his diet" - far too active for him.

Ccongratualtions,
will catch up when you get home,
All the Best,
Nige

Question to Mike Grocott

First, good luck for climbing the summit and excuse me my improvable english.

I know that you use the equipment manufactured by Cortex for the medical tests especially in the base camp. Now it will be adopted for the summit-strike.

We, from SCHR?DER DESIGN who designed the MetaMax 3B in cooperation with Cortex, just want to know what makes the MetaMax 3B so extraordinary especially relating to the design or styling. Is it more comfortable than other products or is it because its mobility?

Thank you for answering!

Anyway, we wish you and the whole expedition maximum success und good luck!

Marcel Reinhardt from SCHR?DER DESIGN
