Archway, London
I am back in the office, and trying to get used to living in London again. Having spent so much time looking forward to coming back to the UK, I am now missing Nepal, and all the people we spent time with out there. There is no pleasing some people!
Mac is still in Kathmandu, sorting out the last of our gear, but the rest of the team are in the UK, and our full time researchers have started the enormous task of analysing the data.
I have spoken to the BBC crew today - Rob and Ben - and they are getting to grips with all the footage they have from the trip. The Horizon programme will be aired in early October I think, but they have not got a confirmed date yet.
I am preparing a talk for a Junior School that I will be giving next week to 200+ 7 to 11 year olds. It is hard to choose which photos to show as there are so many good ones.
The week after I am off to a conference in Glasgow, that Mike, Denny, Dan and Mark will be presenting at. Obviously, they will be talking about the Caudwell Xtreme Everest Expedition, and it will be interesting to see how they condense down what has been a massive undertaking.
By: Lamont Ross | When: 6th Jul 2007 16:28 | Miss Kay, I certainly hope your trip to Glasgow was not at the time of the terrorist scare there. I am hopeful the Horizon program you mentioned will be shown in the US. If you receive a schedule of that, please post for your US fans. Continued good luck and please continued to provide updates to this site. All the best. Lamont |

Glad to hear that you're back home all safe and sound. I can't believe Mac is still in Nepal! Please tell everyone around Archway hello for me and I hope everything is going well. Lotus Flower |
