Doha

I lied in my last blog. I have managed to get online in Doha airport, whilst waiting for our connecting flight to London. For half past twelve at night, Doha airport is full of people! We have had to leave Mac behind to sort out the rest of the equipment for shipping back to the UK. Secretly, I think he is quite happy to get a bit of a breather after taking 18 days to get from Base Camp to Kathmandu. On our last night in Kathmandu, we took out the Sherpas that had missed our thank you party because they were stuck with Mac at Tsangboche. We were supposed to go out dancing after dinner, but were all so tired that we went to bed instead. Mac has promised to go dancing with them before he leaves for the UK. Watch out Kathmandu! John Travolta - eat your heart out!

Hi! Kayos,
Glad to know you're on your way
prepared to dance the night away
but then YOU WENT TO BED?! Really?
So cat man do, won't do?

Enjoy your longest ever day,
and please find time to come and stay.
We've no Travolta here to play
'cos WE ALL DANCE LIKE FRED
Astaire
Lotsahugs.
