The Climbing Team - 22nd May

Mike Grocott, Sundeep Dhillon, Chris Imray, Dan Martin, Nigel Hart, Michael Brown, Dave Rasmussen, Vijay Ahuja and Maryam Khosravi are currently at Camp Four. They have been completing the science planned for the Rolex Institute Laboratory. This includes using an exercise bike, taking blood samples, and carrying out neurocognitive tests. The weather at Camp Four is overcast with relatively high winds and some snow, so the climbers are currently staying inside their tents.

Paul Gunning, Roger McMorrow, Jeremy Windsor, Mick O?Dwyer and Andre Vercueil are resting at Camp Three. This is after assisting with a sick climber from another team who is now at Camp Two.

Denny Levett, Patrick Doyle and Graham Hoyland remain at Camp Two, home of the Eli Lilly Laboratory. They are processing blood samples sent down from higher up the mountain using a Bayer arterial blood gas machine. All members of the team are feeling well.
