The Irish Population increases as well!

The Irish population has also increased thanks to one of our climbers, Roger, and his wife Sara. Isolde Moira Catherine was born on 22nd February at 18.30 hours.

Catherine will be cheering for Ireland tomorrow along with the rest of her family in the game of rugby against England.

The whole of the Caudwell Xtreme Everest team would like to congratulate Roger and his family on their new arrival.

Hi Kay, and hi to all trekkers,

After reading Mary's feedback on her Welsh Trek weekend I have decided to definitely get organised to go on mine and was wondering if anyone would be interested in sharing a lift up from Oxford, or the area.

I am on the May 5 departure trip (K), so my Welsh weekend is scheduled for the Easter weekend 6/8.

Let me know at nicolas@infospectrum.net

Salut.
Nicolas

Congratulations Roger and Sara. We met Catherine's grandparents this weekend on our Welsh Trek weekend - what a lovely couple, who were well pleased with the Irish result, as was Marian (another trekker on my group). Not so pleased were the English contingent!

I can report back that the weekend was a fantastic experience, very professionally run with loads of information - best bits were scrambling over the rocks with little visibility in the pouring rain, the team building exercises, meeting the rest of the team, and meeting Paul, our trek leader. What a shame that everyone we met (from 4 different groups) couldn't all be in the same team - still we'll be keeping an eye out for each other as we pass on the way up/down on the trek.

Huge thanks to everyone at Caudwell Xtreme Everest and to Jagged Globe for a wonderful weekend.

Mary
