Dr Roger McMorrow - Breathing Systems Development

Holds a degree in Medicine from the Queen?s University of Belfast, and a diploma in Mountain Medicine.

Currently working as an anaesthetic registrar in Dublin Ireland. Chair and co-founder of the Expeditionary Research Society of Ireland (ERSI). Extensive mountaineering experience from the Arctic to the Himalaya including a first assent in the Indian Garhwal. Gained 8000m experience by successfully leading a team on the Caudwell Xtreme Everest Cho Oyu expedition 2005.

He is a member of the summit team for this year's Everest expedition. He is developing a new closed circuit breathing system for the expedition. If successful this new circuit should be able to deliver sea level levels of oxygen on the summit of Everest.
