Dr George Rodway - Sleep Studies

George holds a PhD from University of Pittsburgh, USA and is a qualified nurse practitioner. He is currently a research fellow at the Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He has 25+ years of mountaineering experience in N and S America, Europe, and Asia, with a background in mountain rescue.

George is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a member of the Alpine Club, American Alpine Club, International Society of Mountain Medicine, and a life member of the Himalayan Club.

He writes and lectures extensively on the history of high altitude mountaineering and high altitude physiology and medicine. He is also Chairman of the Publications Committee of the Wilderness Medical Society.
